I have not driven a TT yet but I did test drive a 06 997S with an areo kit last weekend, pretty impressive.

I'm thinking of either going to a 03 / 04 996TT or 997S with areo kit. I sill like the look of the 996 better but for about the same money I can get a fairly new if not new 997S. I have not driven a TT yet but I did test drive a 06 997S with an areo kit last weekend, pretty impressive. Just wanted thoughts from anyone who may have compaired both before.

A few months ago i drove a 2001 TT and a brand new 997 C4S cab back to back, and posted my thoughts. I hated the TT and Loved the C4S... im sure the TT was not in great shape... the battery was dead etc. I was expecting to be blown away by the power and torque... and it was fast, but didnt feel like it really. It had a really crappy clutch too BTW. I'd still like to try out a good TT example at some time... but for now the 997S is the one i'd choose
