Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I did my Boxster calipers YEARS ago....didnt take long, and it came out ok...I'd give it a B....Used plastikote caliper paint....now do I wanna do it again? Not sure.....What are my options in SoCal for getting powder coated calipers? I would love someplace that can do an exchange so I am not out for days (weeks?) while I am waiting for calipers.....Also maybe a custom color option.....I am not sure what color I am going with...It probably wont be red, either yellow, or a custom color.....Currently I have the C4 silver.....

POST 2Original post

Have you seen Tim's (gota911) post about his DIY??? Looked good.

POST 3Original post

If you're going DIY, Duplicolor has caliper paint sets ( http://www.duplicolor.com/products/caliper.html) . Combined with a clearcoat ( http://www.duplicolor.com/products/engine.html) , it works great at a fraction of the cost of already painted new/used calipers. Check out Tim's thread as suggested by Dell. Pics are worth a thousand words.

POST 4Original post

Newport996 - Here is the link to the painted caliper thread I started. There are some tips in various posts in the thread in response to questions by others on the forum. Let me know if you have any questions. https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...light=calipers
