My idea of doing myself will give me a chance to clean the radiators.

Has anyone used these guys, or another place they can recommend?

I had a little bumper damage, and I want to buy a replacement, but have it delivered painted properly and ready to install. I went to the local Porsche dealer and they want $2500 to replace the bumper. I was not impressed with the shop inside, stuff was everywhere, and they are not the actual Porsche dealer, rather across the street and the associated bodyshop who works on all cars. The OEM covers are about 1200 plus most local body shops want 3-350 to paint it. I do not want to spend 1500+ to replace the bumper, otherwise I would just have it done and not touch anything. My idea of doing myself will give me a chance to clean the radiators. While you would hope a bodyshop would do that while they have it apart, I have little faith they actually would do so. I found this place on the web

and they will send me a newly painted refurb bumper for 685 delivered to a local greyhound bus station. I didnt see and other places offering a similar service. Has anyone used these guys, or another place they can recommend?
I'd just take it to a local shop to make sure they color match your car properly. I wouldn't trust someplace over the internet to do that from afar.
Also, while retail is up around $1200, I think you can get an OEM bumper for a lot less - try Suncoast or Sunset parts that offers discounts to the general public.

Removal and replacement are easy jobs, and you give yourself the opportunity to clean out those ducts (and maybe even install some screens to minimize it again in the future).

And if it is painted elsewhere and delivered to you, it will look obvious that it was painted elsewhere. These are old cars, and getting a match to the faded paint is hard enough in person.
