I enable the AUX input (in the hidden menu: keep pressing TP, then go to AUX, and change from ON to OFF and power cycle the radio)
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello there,
I'm struggling trying to install this to my CDR-220
https://www.ebay.com/itm/PORSCHE-RAD...QAAOSwQR9biDBP
It is like any other BT module that gets connected between the CD Charger and the radio, and enables BT streaming when you enable the AUX input in the radio
The installation should be quite straight forward, connecting this cable in the C socket, between the one coming from the charger and the radio. But I'm having really problems enabling the AUX input and I hope previous experiences can help.
Here it is what happens:
I enable the AUX input (in the hidden menu: keep pressing TP, then go to AUX, and change from ON to OFF and power cycle the radio)
If I have the connector C disconnected (where the charger comes) I can see the AUX: FM->CD->AUX
If I connect only the cable with the BT adaptor to the Sockect C, I still see the AUX: FM->CD->AUX
If I connect the cable from the the charger (with or without the BT adaptor in the middle), I can not see AUX anymore and I can only circle FM->CD-CDC
If I go to the hidden menu, I still see AUX:ON, but I can not circle it with the "S" button as far as I have the charger connected
Does anyone have had the same problem?
Thanks in advance
I'm assuming you mean CD changer and not charger. Most of the units that plug into that port require that the CD Changer be disconnected. I would check with the manufacturer.
Thanks!
Actually, I bought this one because they say that is compatible with the cd changer. I have emailed with them several times and they confirmed it.

Thanks.
That process is just to activate the AUX input in the radio. I have that clear.
I got to have my AUX input activated ("ON") on the radio
The problem is:
If I have the changer disconnected, I can circle (with the "S" button) the sources between FM->AUX->CD
If I connect again the changer, the aux option dissapears from the cicle, and I only see the regular FM->CDC-CD (although the AUX is still ON in the hidden menu)
I was expecting that, once activated, I would have be able to circle between the fourth input FM->AUX->CDC->CD and have both, the BT and the changer
That's exactly what the provider says that it should happen and he confirmed that he has sold many of those kits for Porsche owners in US, and all of them are able to have both, the Changer and the BT module.
I know, but it is a question of mine. I want to have the car as much oem as possible (and I actually play some CDs there
)
Nobody having CDC and AUX working at the same time?
What is weird, is that the seller tells me that he has sold a lot of them to PCA members and all of them work fine (aux input and CD changer at the same time), but I don't find anyone who have posted any installation on internet...
I don't think it is possible. Becker's NA distributor themselves came out with a bluetooth kit but note you can't use it and the changer both, just the in-dash CD player. I wonder if the seller is confusing in-dash with changer.
It is possible that paying for the internal modification version of bluetooth will allow for what you want (

), but check with them first.
Thanks for the help!
The seller claims that his product works while keeping the CD Changer
Actually is one of the main selling points

Keep your CR220 radio cassette and add this interface and enjoy the high quality audio from your device!
New Feature: Maintain your CD Changer or stream your music.
No more messy wires or drilling holes! Auto connects every time the radio is turned on. Who needs a CD player, just stream the music on your Phone and internet Radio.
Use the removal key(supplied) and gently pull the radio out, unplug the CD changer if you have one and plug this adapter in between the radio and your CD changer
select Aux and Pair it with your device.
I am in contact with them via ebay, and they say that their module, should work together with the CD Changer
But at least in my case, even activating the AUX option, as soon as I plug the CD Changer, the AUX option is not available anymore. That's why I am asking if somebody has done this before, because there is not much more complication that I can see...
