Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i discover some noise when i rolling into garage the other day, pushed the front end of the car, heard the chunk sound. drop off the car in the indy place today. the control arm has to be replaced. part is $300 + 2hr labor. my question, should i put in some new suspension while the car is in service? and what should i put? car is MY01 cab tip. weekend toy, no autoX, maybe some light DE.

POST 2Original post

For the front you could do sway bar and sway links. But you would want to match and do the rear sway bar and sway links too. Would help alot for DE events. If your running on stock suspension, you might consider some springs which they are there to drop in. For $300ish would be night day and day difference on the track.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
