Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just got some more information. Its not a Carrera 4 so based on that, can someone give me a price estimate? Thanks Can someone give me a rough estimate on how much I shuold pay for a 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet with the hard top option? Seems to be in excellent conidition and only has 20500 miles on it. Thanks

POST 7Original post

No, I've seen the 4 door variant.................................. It's safe to pay $150k for either example as long as in rough condition and at least 3 not 2 cigarette burns.

POST 10Original post

He pulled the 2d off the thread, spoiled the fun, did he........................

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So, anyone actually have any pricing suggestions?? I mean you guys are funny and all, but i really would like an opinion on pricing.

POST 13Original post

If you don't like their jokes then why would you trust a number from them? Look it up on KBB or Edmunds. Look at the Porsche website and see what the pre-owned ones are listed for sale there. Check ebay. Do your own research and you will have a number you can trust.

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My guess is they arent the only ones on this forum and I am curious what others paid for similar cars. i have looked on KBB, edmunds, nada etc. thanks for your help

POST 15Original post

some where around 52-55k would be my guess. i bought a 02 2 cab for $57k two years ago.

POST 16Original post

You are right, mine was $14 and I think I paid too much.

POST 17Original post

Your question, how much a paricular 996 is worth, gets asked so often on this forum that the regulars want to inject some levity to relieve the boredom. There are so many pricing variables such as the precise condition of the car, its options, and the market in which you reside, to make any guess on our parts wildly speculative. So for what it's worth, a friend of mine bought a moderately equipped '02 C2 cab with 35K miles for $52K in MD. The purchase was made in late September '06. Good luck.

POST 18Original post

NADA trade 41,475 loan 37,350 retail 46,925 I just paid 40,000 for a 53,000 mi cab

POST 19Original post

Just paid $48k for a 32,000 mile 2002 C4 Cab in Denver. One owner, service records, original sticker of $91k. Good luck with your search.

POST 20Original post
