Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

In any event, I did find one rattle spot, but only time will tell if it was the only one, lol.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I took off my bumper to search for heat shield rattles and in the process found out that my bumper isn't OEM. It's a pretty good replica - but there are tell-tale signs, like marker lines to cut out spots for the bumperette mounts, rough cut outs for those spots, and the tow hook spots don't line up. It appears that at least the bumper was changes at some point - and not to upgrade it - just to replace it. Very good cover-up though In any event, I did find one rattle spot, but only time will tell if it was the only one, lol. Thanks to Rennlist and RennTech for the knowhow!!! -td
