Thats gotta be a good sign and certainly is a testament that the 996's can run trouble-free.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

As this is only my 4th post but 3rd P-car, I had a request to post some photos of the not-too-often-seen Green 996. I hope you give it thumbs up, it looks awesome in person. Glad to be onboard with this site, tremendous amount of solid information.
Thanks for the thumbs up from everyone! Its like hoping your friends think your new girlfriend is HOT! It just came back this morning from its 30k checkup and tested out perfect. Not one single issue with it at 31,000 miles. Thats gotta be a good sign and certainly is a testament that the 996's can run trouble-free.
I got it from an Internet dealer in St. Louis that I found on eBay. Thrilled with the car but not with their full description of the car pre-purchase. I asked for ALL of the details that might be out of line with the car. Biggest was mismatched tires front and rear. I think that might have been worth mentioning before a flight to St. Louis. I guess they didnt think so. Also only had one key, so just spent another $275 at the dealer this AM. Upside is, the car had the full-leather package and the 030 suspension which they either didn't know or didnt tell me. I think its a good wash either way!
there is a paint code under the front hood on the options sticker. that will also list ALL the options ordered when the car was new. for example, you will be able to tell is the aero kit was ordered or is an aftermarket or OEM add-on after purchase.
not diggin the bling chrome wheels, but that color is awesome! takes some nuts to pull the trigger on a color like that. congrats!!!!!
It is beautiful! I've got the same interior on my Lapis Blue 996 (but you've got the cooler steering wheel - mine is also a 3-spoker, but does not have the wood trim).
It does have the factory Aero code of XAA and lots of X-options. The paint code is L2AI, Rain Forest Green Metallic. I NEVER have owned anything green except a pair of Chuck Taylors back in the late 70's!! I was prepared to walk away from the car and take a flight home if I didnt like the color, but in person the Metallic green paint looks electrified. I am not a chrome or bling fan, but the chrome on the car REALLY works. Just ordered FABSPEED mufflers thanks to RENNLIST and Dan @ Vivid!!
Never really thought about a green 911 before, but the car looks fantastic, particularly with the aerokit. Very rich looking color. Great job bringing the shine out on that puppy.
Great looking car.... I wanted a red convertible but my green coupe was too good of a deal to pass up. But the green has really grown on me and at dusk it looks even better. I actually get alot of compliments on the car when driving specifically because they have never seen that color.
Also, your interior looks absolutely mint. I'm so jealous...
Wow...that metallic color finish is gorgeous. Not a green-car person myself, but that looks -- as you say -- electrifying! The interior appears to be flawless, with the driver seat barely worn at 31K miles. That's quite a unique 996 and is guaranteed to turn heads.
Be sure to get the painted bumperettes from Eric to complete the look.
Oh, my eyes! Man, I could have gone my whole life with out seeing that combination! That's going to haunt me in my nightmares! What do they call the the color of that interior?
queen city, nice car! i've always thought that a green sports car is a gentleman's color, very classy and befits your car. i think the 911 invokes a certain balance of class and brute. green brings out the classy side a little more.
