I also got a new shifter from Gert, only mine is the solid aluminum ball shifter made by Techart. Kind of fun having something different, and I love the way the machined solid aluminum ball feels in my hand (no sexual jokes please)!

So Gert makes it out of a 997 GT3 shifter with a 996 shift boot and horse shoe? Pretty sure the 997 has a different-shape horse shoe than the 996.
