Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, My 944 alarm is going off. I have tried unlocking with the fob and the key, neither doors will unlock nor will the boot. The battery is low and that is why the alarm is going off so I need to disconnect it somehow but i can't get in the car.

POST 2Original post

Do you guys post in the 996 forum just for the heck of it? Call a locksmith. And post over in the 944 forum here - https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...-968-forum-70/

POST 4Original post

Just wait a couple more hours and it should be on fire. Reach through the hole caused by the fire and open the door.

POST 5Original post

I have a feeling that he meant 996, not 994. OP if you have a 996, open the front hood by pulling the emergency cable here: You'll be able to get to the battery to disconnect it or re-charge it.

Read it again...944, not 964 or 996

Speak up Joe, he can't hear for all the alarm noise.

Naw, it's his first post. Maybe he's running around in circle holding his ears?

Or he's looking for help to solve the problem so he can drive off with the car.

That's a 997! Or is it a 996 with a 997 facelift?

POST 11Original post

Pretty sure the word is out in Rennlist to post random question threads about different models here in the serene 996 forum. They got me the first four times, but number 5...ooooh you just wait!

Oh man! Hahaha ummm...here this guy's video is pretty good at finding the front hood release. You Tube

From the looks of those rotors, he must keep his car parked on a boat ramp.
