Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

my porsche shop fitted my B&M SSK and it feels great. Much to my horror, when I got home sitting in the bottom of the box was the agency power link that I bought at the same time after reading advice on this site. The Porsche dealer is happy to 'correct' his mistake but said that he didnt think the link would make a difference. Do I insist he takes my car apart once more (at no cost to me) to fit this little sucker or do I just keep my $75 link in the drawer.

POST 2Original post

You bought it to install it on the car, right? Well, have him install it!

POST 3Original post

What is an agency power link really supposed to do?

POST 5Original post

Send it to me Seriously, I would have them install it free of charge. You paid for it, so have it put in.

POST 6Original post

my cousin and i have one installed, so not sure how it'd be without one. the oem link is plastic, where AP's is metal. Can you return it?

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks I cant return it as I imported from oseas. As a bit of research I will get it instaled in early April and then I can provide a report on the SSK with the part and without it. Watch this space.

POST 8Original post

I have the B&M and the Agency Power linkage, installed them 4 month ago. The plastic linkage was badly worn and had a tremendous amount of play at 35K. The Agency Power Linkage removed all the play and sloppiness. A great improvement on my car. Also, it won't wear like the plastic OEM piece. I certainly recommend it.
