Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

At that point, if yes, check the AC compressor to see if it is engaged.
Leading evidence: 'Check ac compressor' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check ac compressor' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I posted a week ago about the sudden issue where I was having no heat....I removed and taped up the flaps in the dash last year and made my heat work perfectly. AC also worked perfectly. Last week, out of the blue, I had zero heat at all. It was blowing just cool air.
I suspected it was my Heater Core, so ordered a new one. Coolant level is normal...No leaks, no weird smells. Nothing.
Yesterday, I wanted to get a look at the flaps again to see how they were looking. I removed the panel to the left and right of the HVAC control system, where the cigg light adapter/wiper speed adjuster, and other buttons are. I unplugged them. I then unplugged the HVAC controller, but didn't have the right tool to remove my radio, so i plugged everything back in. After doing that, I HAVE HEAT! However, now, when i turn on the AC at the lowest temp, I still HAVE HEAT! The pictures show what I took off, unplugged, and then plugged back in.
What did I do to change it from No Heat/Only A.C. to now Onlyl Heat/No A.C.?
What part do you think is broken, and needs to be replaced? I'm at a loss because I didn't really do anything in the dash and cannot understand what needs to be fixed/adjusted.
When you press the snowflake on the HVAC panel, does it come on in the display indicating the AC is on? At that point, if yes, check the AC compressor to see if it is engaged.
Update: Yesterday, I had heat, and only heat, on my morning drive to work. I shut the car off. Started it back up, and now I had Cold AC and ONLY cold AC, no matter what temp I adjusted it to. What could possibly be causing this? Is it some type of motor or switch that adjusts the flaps? I'm fairly comfortable trying to take on any job, but removing the dash and going through all the duct work is intimidating for me. Any suggestions as to where I should start?
Thanks
It sound like your controller/logic board may be malfunctioning. At least you know that the heat and AC both work... Now the trick is to get them to work on demand...Sorry I can't help you with that
