Suggestion

I will be very eager to drive one of these when they come out as I was a bit too young and poor when the 928s were rolling around to give 'em a test drive.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone read about the new 928? I think it looks cool. What do you all think? Check it out HERE

POST 2Original post

Wow, that is beautiful! I love the front. Sooo sexy! Adam

POST 3Original post

Beautiful car indeed, but still a long wait for its release...

POST 6Original post

I see they are recycling all the left over Carrera GT wheels. That's what the 997 front end should look like today. By 2011 that 928 will be out dated.

POST 7Original post

Wow!!! I'm going to roll all of my coins. I should have enough wrapped by 2011......

POST 9Original post

Okay, so it's a Cayman front end, an Aston Martin rear quarterpanel and a Carrera GT rear lighting scheme. Hmm. Original. So unlike anything I've ever seen before.

POST 10Original post

Geez, how much does it cost to design a different looking front end. I mean put the fog lights in the headlight assembly and clean up the front end. Also, the thing that has bugged me about Porsches ever since 1999 is that the front licence plate is mounted like an afterthought. They should have it set back in the bumper cover someplace. They need a new designer. Is the guy from SAAB still in charge of design?

POST 11Original post

I love it and after driving 928's for 15 years prior to my 996 I will buy one of these next. Hope it gets here sooner though.

POST 13Original post

The car looks very fantastic, but it very well could be outdated in 6 years. I will be very eager to drive one of these when they come out as I was a bit too young and poor when the 928s were rolling around to give 'em a test drive. As for the bumper and an integrated license plate bracket, they are not required in many states, and I absolutely prefer the look for the car without the front license plate.

POST 14Original post

I like it now but I agree that by then who knows?

POST 15Original post

I agree... time for the round lights to GO AWAY... and let evolution progress the design...

POST 16Original post

I buy it..outdated or not! Great concept..probably going to be priced way above the 911

POST 17Original post

I still like it and it's been several days older to me................

POST 18Original post

I still like it and it's been several days older to me................ Even better, I'll take my in old school brown!!!

POST 19Original post

The rear looks quite "SLR-ish". The front look nice though.
