I used Andy @ Eurocar for PPI and he was simply excellent -- professional, detail oriented and quite simply a very nice fellow.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

23 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Dear all, I have been reading and learning from you for a few months -- armed with the knowledge, I purchased my 1st P-Car and drove it home from Chicago on Sat. I used Andy @ Eurocar for PPI and he was simply excellent -- professional, detail oriented and quite simply a very nice fellow. Highly recommended. Here are a few pics...bear in mind the car has just gone thru an 800-mile trip so it is not as clean as it could be. Have a great week! Cheers, WKL '02 C2 Silver/Black

POST 3Original post

Nice. Congrats and Welcome the the Porsche Phunny Pharm. Hide your wallet, 'cuz there guys will be having you do more mods than you even knew existed. If your state does not require the front license plate, I suggest you lose the plate and get some BumperPlugs from Eric. <=== the first suggested mod. See, I told you to hide your wallet!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thx gota911...next steps I am planning includes: - Britax car seats for the my kids (done) - Extended warranty (in the works) - Clear markers - BumperPlugs

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Overland Park, KS....suburb of Kansas City. Need to update my profile.

POST 9Original post

welcome to the p-car world! please be careful when getting ext. warr., if not from porsche. search for "warranty" on this forum, and there are some useful info. good luck!

POST 10Original post

POST 13Original post

Car looks great, nice color choice. Rims are nice, thinking of getting similar.

POST 15Original post

Congrats, I grew up in Prairie Village, KS. Is the plaza still hopping?

POST 16Original post

Congratulations! And you will soon discover (probably already) that the 911 is the ultimate "family car"

POST 17Original post

Car looks great - I just had the Britax car seat installed, and it works great (it's the most ridiculous fabric I've ever seen - teddy bears holding old Porsches on strings).

POST 18Original post

Looks great..let the mods begin...clear sidemarkers...red calipers...a little carbon fiber left and right and before you know you are as crazy addicted as the rest of us!!

POST 19Original post

welcome, there's no going back now. Life has changed for the good.

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The car is Artic Silver. C4S Surgeon: Country Club Plaze is definitely a happening place. Pls advise the next time you come in town. Any KC area 996 Rennlisters interested in meeting up?

POST 21Original post

Beautiful car. Congrats on the purchase and welcome.

POST 22Original post

Very nice. The wheels look great on that car. Enjoy it.

POST 23Original post

WKL, A fellow neighbor! I have owned my black beauty for 9 mths now and have been somewhat unsuccessful in meeting other owners in the KC area. However, I just been informed that the PCA chapter is very active, so I am planning to attend the 'new member orientation meeting' at Imagineauto on April 1... Hope to see you there. Check www.kcrpca.org for directions and time. If you want to stretch your car a bit, the NSX owners in KC meet monthly in the back country roads in Independence. Virtually no traffic and nice curves. Having owned a NSX previously, these are a great group of guys and invitation is opened to all car types. You can check www.nsxprime.com for details. Mike 2001 996 blk/tan aero
