Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All of a sudden I noticed my Porsche emblems on my center caps are faded, what's up with that!?

POST 2Original post

karma......j/k. in all seriousness, they fade like anything else that is exposed to UV.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Karma from driving to fast on public roads? I would think they all wouldn't fade equally though.

POST 5Original post

Of course they would all fade equally because they were all going too fast together! When you buy some new center caps, make sure you protect them from UV rays. "How do I do that?" you ask! Well, I'll tell you. Just cover them up with duct tape. They will last indefinitely! Sorry, it's Friday and I am a little batty!

POST 6Original post

If your car is still under warranty they will cover them, If not lots on ebay..other then that its sounds like if thats the worst thing wrong with your car, you are doing well!

POST 7Original post

new they go for $225 got them x-mas...and they look like a set of new teeth, what a difference !!

POST 9Original post

wait till my front looks the same as yours Tim, except for the bumper.....will show you the images around next Wednesday..

POST 10Original post

Go to Boothe Designs on the internet. Ralph makes his by hand using hood badges. More expensive than the factory but jewel like in appearance. And they won't fade like the plastic crap the factory sells.

POST 11Original post

Brandeywine has them for 185 for the set. I emailed Ralph about then this week.
