Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Hmmmmm, maybe Loren disconnected the wire, because he wanted to buy the P...felt bad about it and now is "the MAN".......I smell a conspiracy....of course could be wrong since he lives about 5 hours driving away!

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My car has plenty of power, i.e. no battery issues. Starter won't engage. I tried all my keys and even reprogrammed them. Nothing. I looked behind the knee bolster w/ the camera and found this. Can someone look at their 2003 996 and see if this second blade is connected to a wire? What is it? I went through all the fuses and everything seems fine. Thanks. I'm also open to any other suggestions.

POST 2Original post

Looks like the clutch interlock switch. It should have a brown wire connected - with the yellow/violet. That would definitely keep anything from happening.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

up so I couldn't see it. Thanks again!

POST 4Original post

WOW, Loren, that is VERY impressive! I am totally serious!
