I'm having the window "drop" problem...my question is: Can I adjust the top stop so that even though the windows don't "drop" they will come up just enough to clear the top so that they don't "catch" the top when opening and closing the doors?

There's an adjustment that you access in the bottom of the doors. Remove the rubber plug, adjust with hex key. Two I believe. Up and down and front to back.

If your window(s)) pull up then the regulator is shot. I just replaced mine with the URO one that is less that half the price of the OEM but twice the price of the really cheap ones. An hour or two to replace, we will see how long it lasts. you could adjust the glass so it clears the channel without dropping but then it won’t seal right in the rain and you will get wind noise. It could also be the door lock meachanisn/micro switch not working if the window is tight in the track.
