Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm getting ready to change out a bad hose on my 2000 996. I'm sure I will loose a little antifreeze changing the hose. Can I refill the system with straight Concentrate Porsche antifreeze or do I need to mix it with distilled water? THANKS

POST 4Original post

I believe it is 50/50, but it should indicate on the side of the bottle. Either way if only adding a bit, 50/50 should be fine I'd think.

POST 5Original post

Mix the Porsche antifreeze 50/50 with distilled water in a separate container and add to the expansion tank. Make sure you raise the wire bail manually on the coolant tank to properly burp any air out of the system. Leave it up for several hot/cool cycles.
