Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Driving in normal traffic conditions I got the PSM Failure and the ABS Failure at the same time. Has any one else encountered this. 2002 C4S 56,000 miles

POST 2Original post

Yes, it ended up being the steering angle sensor. Brought it in the Porsche and they hooked it up the computer and reset the sensor.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, one more thing to add... the PSM and ABS failure dissapeard yesterday afternoon for about 30 min of driving at the end of the day. I thought all was well till this morning after 15 min of driving, it re-appeared.

POST 4Original post

Have you had a four wheel alignment done recently?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No, I have not had it alligned

POST 6Original post

Several of us had this same syndrome happen after installing the POS K&N Air Intake. It's an indication something is wrong with your MAF...

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My C4S is bone stock with no mods. I am still a newbee.... what is a MAF ?

POST 9Original post

most likey a maf issues somethign as simple as a loose connector or a failed sensor

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

the failure has not appeared for two days now.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

btw thanks for the MAF answer.

POST 12Original post

Your steering sensor could also go out of whack if you hit a pot hole. I would take it in and have them check it, no point in guessing.

POST 13Original post

not really theres really no reason for the steering angle sensor to be out of wack from a pot hole
