This is not a probability of success.

Discussions that suspect a cause
1

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suspected cause

It was the cooling system that blew, the water pump I think.

WAY OT: Fun with Ferrari ends when engine blows up

Outcome qualification: Negation, uncertainty or missing explicit repair resolution overrides the raw extraction signal.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 1 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

In case you need a good laugh (or a cry) -> http://www.sportscarforums.com/media/ferrari_456.mpeg I find it much better on mute -td <-- looks more like airbags deploying to me

POST 2Original post

Great video although my heart just about stops everytime I hear the pop. The blow-up is very weird though because it happens during breaking and not during acceleration, maybe air bags, blown radiator, fuel ingniting, etc. Who knows?

POST 3Original post

I know. It was the cooling system that blew, the water pump I think. Remember this from a couple of years ago.

POST 4Original post

What's with the insane nose dive from braking? It seems a little excessive.

POST 5Original post

I have the same car, 1995 Ferrari 456. The water pump was a weakness and mine was updated. It indeed is a waterpump that blows on that one. Dario Benuzzi is the test driver who drives them 'til they blow. What a job!
