Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suspected cause

My problem is just that the colour is atrocious, it might as well be "ricer blue." If it was just a simple classy outline in the signature Porsche interior colour, maybe, but these just seem silly.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just saw how cool these look on the 997. Can anyone provide a definitive answer whether this can be done on a 996?

POST 3Original post

We had a thread on this a couple of months ago - do a search, there's some good info there...

POST 5Original post

Not my cup o' tea, either. They remind me of the license plate frames that have the "moving lights" on them.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I already have the stainless steel plates, but I don't think this look as bad as some of you are claiming. P.S. I had already searched the previous thread but the only useful response was that it might be available through TechArt.

POST 7Original post

It looks a little too Mercedes to me and not sporty at all. And like mentioned above, it does seem like those neon license plate holders. Seems like the next step would be to put neon under the car. But if you must have them, here you go: http://www.eurorev.com/products/inde...b57a78720d011c Alternatively, just do a search on 'Porsche illuminated door sills'. You'll find tons of hits.

POST 8Original post

My problem is just that the colour is atrocious, it might as well be "ricer blue." If it was just a simple classy outline in the signature Porsche interior colour, maybe, but these just seem silly. But that being said, I don't even like the stainless sills on a light car, no contrast, I'd rather have black ones with silver writing - a dark car would be another story and would probably look a lot better.

POST 9Original post

Not my style either. I do like stainless plates on a dark car - wish I had them, but not worth the $$ - other mods to spend it on!!
