Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I also need to take off my front bumper to clean the radiators if that helps.

I was wondering about the possibility of a grille design with integrated small LED daytime running lights.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello fellow enthusiasts!
We have been around the forum for years and are prototyping our radiator grilles for the 996 911. We are looking for local testers (hopefully to the Chicagoland western suburbs) for testers who will allow us to photograph or video the installation of the radiator grilles on their 996 911 (no 4S or turbo yet). We could also work with shipping, but testing becomes more cumbersome. Please post or PM if interested! Take a look at some of our products

Here are the installation instructions for the Porsche 996.2 911 www.radiatorgrillstore.com radiator grilles! Thank you for volunteering! We need 996.1 (Manual and tip) and 996.2 tip volunteers close to Chicago. Heres the video of the easy install of Porsche 911 996.2 radiator grilles from www.radiatorgrillstore.com

Wish I was nearby! I have both a 996.1 and a 996.2.
One point for you to consider is that the grille openings are different on the 996.1 and the 996.2 carerra. Then you have the Aerokit I and Aerokit II which are also different than the carerra. Plus you have the variants like the turbo/c4s/millenium (which you mentioned) and the GT3 (edit: i am pretty sure this bumper is the same as the Aerokit I and Aerokit II, depending on which generation of GT3: mk I vs mk II). ...and GT2 although that market is pretty tiny. Oh, and the center radiator vs no center depending on model and transmission. Whew.
Do you also test temperature behaviour one on one in similar conditions with or without the grilles. Especially with some slower driving speeds? Just wondering if there is any effect. And if there is one when it comes into play.
Well I'm from Germany and own a 996.2 Targa. I would be in as a non local, maybe you are up for establishing your product in europe as well. The targa is fitted with Aerokit etc. Hit me up ;-)
I'd be interested,, especially if they were not as overpriced as the other options out there,,
was planning on making a set this fall,, but if yours come to light sooner I'll be watching.
I have a C4 in Oregon ,,, I'd step up to be a DIY tester especially if you want someone to test a production version..
Cheers
Dave
Hi, Ill be removing the front bumper on my Speed Yellow 99 996 and cleaning the radiators in the next week or so. Happy to test installation and supply lots of photos. Please let me know if I can be of assistance.
Juat watched your videos. Install looks easy. I signed up for updates since I have a C4S. Very interested when you will be offering these for my model.
We are looking to do the C4s as well. We are looking for a local to the western suburbs of Chicago tester. There are a couple variations and a temperature sensor that we need to work around.
I was wondering about the possibility of a grille design with integrated small LED daytime running lights. C4S in my case. Maybe some future design could consider that.
Here they are for the 911 996.2! A big thanks to Mike T for lending a helping hand with the photos and video of the install! I will open another highlighting the product! Still need a local 996.1, Paul?
