Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The GC is waiting and I as I get out he walks to the back of the still-running car, saying, "I'll get it." I say, "fine by me," and open the passenger door to provide access to a 50 lb bag of gray grout in the passenger seat (I used my foul weather jacket to protect the Recaros).

Similarly (though less often), I also get funny looks when filling my car with gas at the front fender.

Suggestion
It's heavy and I'm sure changes the handling dynamics of my car but if you're there and you need it then why not?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The Werewife is getting a new kitchen for our upcoming anniversary. She calls yesterday all flustered. The GC needs grout and thinset (I have no clue what that is) but she can't/won't leave the house where the dogs are howling like banshees. I agree and say I'll get it. After a fast romp to Home Depot - where I park in East Jesus only to find a Taurus snugged up to me upon my return - I pull into the driveway with the goods.

He does a double take and asks why not in the trunk, pointing at the car's perky little rear end. I say, "the engine's in there" with a smile.
This reminds me of my recent smog check.
Smog guy: Hey I need you to open your hood. (Points to front.)
Me: Why do you want to look in there?
Smog guy: I need to make sure you don't have any aftermarket stuff in there.
Me: Oh, like my stereo?
Him: NO! LIKE ENGINE MODS.
Me: Ohhhh! You want to look in the trunk!

Me:
...why do I have to be like this?
I love the looks I get when I open the frunk and put bags or other random things in there. Similarly (though less often), I also get funny looks when filling my car with gas at the front fender.
My uncle had an Mr2 back in the 90s.
One time he came out from grocery shopping, opened the frunk and yelled SOMEONE STOLE MY MOTOR
Nearly gave the old lady next to him a heart attack
A guy was looking at one of my 914s one day. He had never seen one. I opened the hood... no motor. I opened the trunk.... his eyes opened wide in surprise... No motor! I told him it was all solar.
I frequently carry a five gallon fuel jug with me on the day I plan on a fill-up. I get a lot of funny looks and comments when I fill that jug, at the pump, without even removing it...
I like the fact that the C2 has a pretty deep truck compared to the C4 and Turbo models.
I've actually fit the 5 gallon bucket of drywall mud in my trunk before. It's heavy and I'm sure changes the handling dynamics of my car but if you're there and you need it then why not?
It does turn heads when people see what's coming out of what they perceive to be the engine bay!
