Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Even if you don't actually buy one, just considering one will help get your sense of humor back and help repair your emotional "dents and scrapes."
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Look at my car, it was parked and some &^%$#@!! did this to my door!
Looks like it's reversed into, luckily the rear view mirror didn't break.
What do I do with it? I live in Norcal, what shop around here can fix this?
Thanks,
Magnus
too much reflection in the pic to see what's damaged. just get it repaired. not worth agonizing. it'll be good as new if you take it to a good body shop. don't sweat it.
Magnus - OUCH! Sorry to see that!
First thing - consider buying one of those BIG Band-Aids that they make for cars. Even if you don't actually buy one, just considering one will help get your sense of humor back and help repair your emotional "dents and scrapes."
Second - Snap a few more pics, and keep them for when you eventually sell the car. This way you can show the perspective buyer that there was only minor cosmetic damage requiring the fix/repaint.
Third - take it to a good body shop.
Just had it quoted, $2046 for a new door shell, repairing and repainting the front fender and blending the rear fender.
Should I blend the rear fender or repaint it completely?
Mag,
I can tell where they blended my rear fender. A clear line is visible in the right light. IMO, If not big $$ have them redo it so the seam will be at the transition to the rear decklid and/or bumper. If a good color match, you will never know it happened.
Hope you catch the schmuck(s).
