Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I don't believe Porsche changed the MOST interface for US cars, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I'll have whatever testing info and application info they can provide, then we'll get a few out there for final testing on our own before we put it up for sale, promise.

So I was reading another thread that Deputy Dog talked about using the Becker cable ($25) can you use the Becker IPod adapter instead of the CD Changer for Most cars?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
28 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Just called Dension. Here is the deal. The link in the post above is for Dension.com which is a European company. Densionusa.com is a completely different company with completely differenct products. The person at Densionusa cannot tell me if the Dension unit will work in a US car. I have no idea. Densionusa is coming out with a Most unit in a few weeks but it looks completely different than the Dension unit. The Dension unit looks MUCH better with many more options.
We need someone from Europe or someone with more knowledge to tell us if the Dension unit will work in a US car.
We have been in touch with the company, and expect to know more about availability and pricing in less than two weeks.
Assuming it can be done, we will be able to offer the product.
Dension is showing their new products at the 'car + sound' exhibition that started today in Sinsheim, Germany. Its too far away from where im staying right now. Otherwise i would go.
Here is the link for the unit that is coming out in a few weeks from Densionusa.com. For some reason, it is being sold by Dice Electronics. They are affiliated somehow. You can really see the difference in the units. The Densionusa unit is going to be $450 according to the person I spoke to today.

On the other hand that's what they've been saying for years...
So I was reading another thread that Deputy Dog talked about using the Becker cable ($25) can you use the Becker IPod adapter instead of the CD Changer for Most cars? i.e. MY03 TT I don't care at this point if I can see the name and title on the screen If I can control it from the IPOD.
Reader Guy Kuo reports that he was able to disconnect the DIN connector and the head unit treated the iPod as an auxiliary input. But on the CR-210 once you disconnect the DIN connector, you cannot select the CD changer and therefore cannot select the iPod as an audio source. The DIN-aux trick may be specific to units with an aux in capability (the 220 series). For these units, Becker also sells a kit with an adaptor cable and tools for under $20 that lets you hook up an external sound source such as the iPod to the aux in, and you can select it on-screen after enabling aux in via the TP menu. (Part number 1319.116-276 from the Becker parts department at [phone removed] x1209.)

It's designed for Porsche systems at this point through '04....but no one will confirm until final release...still a few weeks out.
Remember guys, I don't 'make' the product, but am working to make it available. I'll have whatever testing info and application info they can provide, then we'll get a few out there for final testing on our own before we put it up for sale, promise.
Thanks.
