Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The fronts had signs of wear, but didn't need to be replaced so I replaced the rears and had my favorite shop dial in more negative camber.
Leading evidence: 'Replace so i' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace so i' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

However, I was a bit baffled by the fact that I've been using the same air pressure that I've used all along (34-36f/42-44r hot)

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Short Version: How do you know if your air pressure guage is accurate (not off by 2-3 or more psi)?
Full Story:
A couple of weeks ago, I corded the outside of my brand new rear MS PS2's after 2 days on the track. The fronts had signs of wear, but didn't need to be replaced so I replaced the rears and had my favorite shop dial in more negative camber.
After a day on the track with the brand new rears, I later noticed extreme wear on the inside as well as the outside of my tires. A depth guage indicated 5/32, 9,32, and 5/32 of tread depth respectively on the inside, middle, and outside of all four tires. I've since concluded that I need more air pressure in my tires. However, I was a bit baffled by the fact that I've been using the same air pressure that I've used all along (34-36f/42-44r hot)
I later noticed that my pressure guage reads 4 psi when it's not in use. Comparing my guage against a couple of others, I confirmed that my guage is off 4 psi in the upper ranges as well. WTF!!!!
This was a very expensive lesson. It cost me a 1.5 sets of rear tires and about .6 of set of fronts.
How do you guys ensure acurate measurements????
Alot of times I grab 2 or 3 gauges (from others in the paddock) when I am out at the track and see if they all read the same. Just helps me to re-confirm that I am getting a proper reading. Also, I will know if my gauge if off with a delta of 4 PSI since that makes a huge difference in how my car handles on the track.
If 3 of the 4 are all saying 40psi and 1 is saying 45 psi then I am pretty sure that the 3 with consistent findings are correct and the 1 oddball is out of whack (technical term
