The carpet was stitched and if you look closely, you can tell it was repaired - but really not worth replacing the entire carpet for this.

The car will now have the clearbra (which was poorly installed) redone right with 3M (Brandywine Porsche has a 3M installer) after which it will get its first Zaino (thanks for all the tips on which products to use).

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

from Holberts. This is a 1K mile C4S coupe in Atlas bought a couple of months ago from Isringhausen. The car came through with a bent lower side molding, cracked front lower lip spoiler and torn carpet - also has 1 or 2 very small stone chips on the top (unclear how many of these occurred in transport). As it turns out the bent rocker was due to a bent wheel well liner, which when replaced did the trick - thus, no replacement or paintwork on the lower rocker. The carpet was stitched and if you look closely, you can tell it was repaired - but really not worth replacing the entire carpet for this. The IL dealer agreed to cover all but the stone chips, which I'm not going to worry about. The car will now have the clearbra (which was poorly installed) redone right with 3M (Brandywine Porsche has a 3M installer) after which it will get its first Zaino (thanks for all the tips on which products to use). The car is beautfiul to look at and a joy to drive. I'm now really beginning to bond with her.

Phil: Hope you have better luck now that you have the car. Enjoy it. What type of experience did you have with Isringhausen? They move lots of inventory-but don't know about their customer service. I live in the middle of four dealers, which are all 3 hours away. Purchased my 911 in Louisville, Ky.
I'll let you know when I get reimbursed for the minor damage. But to this point, Isringhausen has been reasonably responsive and have assumed responsibility for the issues - but, interesting they never mentioned the tear in the carpet when I purchased the car. I believe them when they say they never saw it - it was 'v' shaped, about 1" on both sides. They are available for calls and did transport the car in an enclosed trailer - but the wheel well was damaged in transit - again fixed by Holbert which avoided any body panel work. Plus, the car was CPO'd, always a plus. They also did negotiate on price - I believe I got a fair deal - I really do love the car - as you can see from the pic, what's not to love??

Phil - you need to put a personalized plate on there to let the police know you're an MD - like "KIDZDOC" or something.
My wife's OB/GYN drives a C4, and when he was making a mad dash to the hospital to deliver our daughter, he was tailed by the Glendora PD about 2 miles right into the hospital parking lot - we would have been in hot water had he been pulled over.
I just want to make sure the children of Pennsylvania are well served by their doc!
Rick, actually thought about putting a vanity plate on - but never could stand folks advertising they were MDs - not only pretentious, but makes the car even more of a target. If anything, I'll put a PCA plate on - those are available in PA and look good. Currently, I have a standard PA plate. Likely will keep it that way.

I'm the opposite with MD tags, I go to 4 different hospitals in the city, often I have to park adjacent to the hospital, MD tags aren't vain, they're required around here. Nice color, looks great.
Chris, if you're taking the C4S to 4 hospitals, the MD tags are understandable. Unlike NY, can't even get them in PA unless you find a tag like "BABYDOC" which a friend of mine (another pediatrician with a 911) already has. Thanks for the compliment on the color - the Atlas really works well on the C4S.
