Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Still testing the market... wante to get your inpur... Good deal or not??? Lot of miles, but car does like quite nice... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

POST 2Original post

Looks to be a good deal...nicely optioned. Obviously, this doesn't apply to evey car, but the "very good deal" prices seem to be as follows: 1999 - $30K 2000 - $35K 2001 - $40K 2002 - $45K Options can play on this a little. Add about $5K to each price to see the normal / upper end of what they should be going for. Again, just estimates. mark

POST 3Original post

Mark, your numbers are for cars that would be on the high miles, less than stellar, non-CPO condition. Add 10K to each number to get the going rate for a 996 in good/excellent condition with proper miles. Options other than Aero really don't add much to a used 996 at this point.

POST 4Original post

agree. reminder: the car man. date is 7/01, in-service date is 8/24/2001.how come it's still under fac. warranty? and carfax shows 2 owner, yet the dealer say it's 1-owner car? and this bayshoreautomotive is not a p-car dealer, so no way it's CPO? i see some risk, even though the price is fair. again, this is a fair price with risk, nothing close to a "deal"

POST 5Original post

45,000 for a 2002 cab with those kind of miles is a more than fair price if the cars checks out. Love the color too, have fun with it!
