Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I've inherited a 2002 911 Carrera convertible which seems determined to bankrupt me The latest issue: both the hydraulic rams for the convertible top are leaking. My question is...can anyone give me a rough idea how much this repair should cost? I'm in the Oakland, California area if that's relevant. The problem is, most shops won't even give me a ballpark estimate without inspecting it...and since that's around $200 of labor, it's not exactly easy to comparison shop or get multiple estimates. Thanks so much in advance for your help- Robert
