Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My door will no longer open from the outside, I can open it from the inside no problem. Upon opening the door panel I can see the spade type blade that somehow attaches to the door handle is disconnected from it. The spade can be tightened or loosened, and has a hole in it. There is a pin that goes thru the door handle but I dont know if that pin is suppose to go thru this hole and if it is it seems it would be a major pain........anyone know how this goes together? Brian

POST 2Original post

Brian, Not sure if this will help you or not, but here is the door handle assembly from the PET.

POST 3Original post

theres a pin number 9 in the photo above its attached to the outer handle number 12 is a bayonet fitting and attaches to the lock. you need to pull the collar back on 12 and slip 9 into it then push the collar forward
