I'm not sure how well a front-wheel-drive Honda with a thousand pounds of downforce on the rear wheels due to the monster sheet-metal wing drifts, but I suspect actually drifting is not necessary to become part of The Nation.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

25 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just picked up a 2004 911 Carrera. It has 65K miles. It needed some maintenance items done. Had them all done this week. IMS/RMS, clutch/flywheel replace, f pads and general tune up. This is first Porsche I have owned. One word to describe...WOW. Look forward to many fun times.

POST 2Original post

It's beautiful! Now about those wheels, have you considered powder coating them black?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Kind of like them the way they are. I have a Wildcat that is totally blacked out so that will have to do for my black I guess.

POST 4Original post

Nice unmolested 996. Like the original pumpkins. A very easy DIY is to have them coming on with the flashing indicators. You can never have too many indicators flashing in our driving conditions today. Most owners like to change the pumpkins for clear ones but I use the originals as flashers.

I'm not a big fan of silver turbo twists but your Carrera's look really good.

POST 6Original post

Very Nice! I had an 03 996 Coupe and never had a major issue!! You will love it!

POST 7Original post

Nice! Do you know if that's a OEM Aero side skirt or aftermarket?

POST 8Original post

Sweet Ride! Good luck with 'er... It looks like that right exhaust tip may be hangin' a little low...New motor mounts may be in order

POST 9Original post

What about hangin' a pair of faux ***** between the two exhaust tips to make it pure redneck?

POST 11Original post

Very nice! You're gonna love it! Congrats and welcome!

POST 18Original post

^ The chopped version needs some stickers. GReddy and Nitrous Express, at the very least. K&N as well. On the way to the airport in Denver on Weds, I spotted a douche rolling a lowered, rattlecanned Honda with a huge wing and an enormous "Drift Nation" sticker across the back window. Apparently, when you're in the Drift Nation, rear-wheel drive is not a requirement. I'm not sure how well a front-wheel-drive Honda with a thousand pounds of downforce on the rear wheels due to the monster sheet-metal wing drifts, but I suspect actually drifting is not necessary to become part of The Nation. I don't normally harass *****, but if it had been possible to talk to that guy, I would have asked him to tell me about some of his best monster drifts...and then I'd ask where he stores his plastic lunch trays...
