Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, I am thinking of lowering my car a bit and came across this item on Ebay. I would like to know both if the product is good quality and is the price reasonable. I have bought many items from this Ebay vendor(s) and have been happy. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VOGTL...spagenameZWDVW or http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H-R-S...spagenameZWD1V Thanks very much J

POST 3Original post

i would sugest to go with Shocks and Springs and if you want height adjustment go with full Coilovers... Just doing Springs will trash your stock Shocks and you will have to do it over again. Do it once do it Correct... Trust me

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Zookie.. what is the complete package you or others would recommend? Keep in mind, the car is just a daily driver and I don`t race etc. Just looking to lower the SUV look without sacrificing the ride comfort. Thanks much Jordan

POST 5Original post

He is recommending that you change the shocks along with the springs. This will help because your old shocks will not match the spring rates or height of the new springs. FWIW, out of the choices you posted I'd go with the H&R's. You could also look at Eibach's as they also product good quality prings.

POST 6Original post

Excatlly, would'nt you want to be comfortable driving around that beast daily? Just springs is going to lower you car but kill your ride comfort (been there). That why i recommend to do Aftermarket Shocks with your Springs, if you dont plan to Play around with the Ride Height and Damping Adjustment. Shocks and Springs Combo is the way to go. I did Coilover's because of the Ride Height Adjustment, i plan on raising my car every winter since i live in Toronto. I dont really care much about the Damping adjustment since i dont track my car and yes mine is a Daily Driver too :P Cheak out some Shocks see what are your options, dont keep the stock shocks coz like what Ray S said "This will help because your old shocks will not match the spring rates or height of the new springs." Goodluck and keep us Updated...
