Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

It's never been my daily driver, but I had Fabspeed Supercups on my 993 for a few months several years ago. Had to take them off. The drone was painful even for occasional usage. Hard to carry on a conversation inside the car. But they sounded great. (is that what you were asking?) On my 996 track toy I'm running cat by-pass x pipes with Fister Stage "III" mufflers . It's very loud - probably too loud for the street but fun at the track.

POST 4Original post

I had supercups on my 996....sounded great on the track...horrible on the street. Drone at about 2700 rpm was frankly unbearable...I swapped them out for maxflow. Here is my car on the track with supercups https://youtu.be/7qnO54mfMow

POST 5Original post

I have them on my daily. Loud. Glorious in tunnel/overpass/WOT, otherwise just loud. Might be selling mine and going back to stock mufflers.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Going to start with 200 cell cats and take it from there...

POST 7Original post

Probably a good call, Bill. Can’t imagine you blazing through Lihue on 56 with the 105-decibel cups blowing eardrums. Well, maybe a little...

Lol, I really want to though. Actually it's my 12 min commute up the back road to Wailua Rise that I'd like to hear myself ripping up and down on...

POST 9Original post

If it makes you feel better, mine runs with headers and 200 cell cats. No idea what the decibels are but it's loud af. No other way to describe it. And I DD at times. I think.my neighbors love me.
