I have 2002y 996.2 C2 and it's weird that the digital vehicle speed displayed the bottom of the analog speed meter and not in center with the RPM gauge. Does anyone know how to change outside temperature display to vehicle real time speed?

I agree, same 911 here. And I had the same thought, but after much fiddling with the computer, I have come to the conclusion that it�s simply not an option. I would be happy to be corrected however!

The location of the digital speedometer is different between the 996.1 (center, under the tach) and the 996.2 (left, under the speedo). As far as I can tell there is no way to get the 996.2 to show speed in the center panel.

I have also wanted the speed to be in the middle (996.2) it's not easily achievable. The only option is to upgrade to a 997 its in the middle

I believe its because the digital speed in the 996.2 is directly driven in the Speedometer. Not a function of the ECU..

Whilst we're on the topic - i'd really like to swap the useless volt gauge out for a oil temp gauge. There is a oil temp gauge in place of the volt gauge on the Carrera GT but at $10,000USD for a used cluster its hardly worth the money or the effort! :S
