I wouldn't buy anything from them...although i know of a few people who have used ztek headers and i guess they worked ok...

found this on ebay, it's unmarked and seems to look ok. though i'd be sketchy at purchasing something at that price. anyone ever seen this before? looks too good to be true, so i'm thinking it probably is =P

I'm not a fan of the ztek products....all japanese made, from what i've seen...they stole rennlisters pictures and put them on their web page. I wouldn't buy anything from them...although i know of a few people who have used ztek headers and i guess they worked ok...
To clear things up I purchased one of the first sets of Ztek Headers/Mufflers for my 996 C2. After posting my satisfaction with their products materials, craftsmanship, and the sound, Lance PM'ed me that he was a participant on this board and that he would like to use my Video clips and photos. I told him he can use any and all of them as he wishes. I was happy with the product and the price was unbelievable for what you got. If you do a search you will find my old posts on the Ztek products. If you watch the video clips, that clip has the full Ztek exhaust and Fabspeed cat bypass. So it is a bit loud. Before I sold the car i took off the cat bypass since the new owner was driving back 1500 miles. I will say the sound with the stock cats and full Ztek exhaust it sounded Awesome. No resonance at all! I know some take the "Made In..." to heart, For me I just want a quality product. Their products are well made and sound great... oh and they are priced really right too!

these exhaust aren't that bad at all considering the price. It's good that we have competition from competitors, it's better for the consumers like us. I just bought some exhaust from vivid racing that look exactly like these, but with a different label slapped on. I know that evoms is about to sell these too.
Who cares if they're made in taiwan or china, as long as the quality is good. From my visual inspection of mine prior to install they looked pretty good. Would recommend!

How are the headers holding up? Those are usually the test of quality.
Exhausts typically all last long enough if they are stainless...the key is the sound/droning/etc. I saw your vids, and it appears to sound great. How is the sound at a constant highway speeds in 6th gear?
I'm getting the itch to do my first REAL mod

Awesome, thanks for all the info. I decided to go with the purchase, headers and mufflers and i'm going to keep my stock cats to see how it sounds. it's not a dedicated track car, and if i were going to spend any more money on mods it would have to be poured into the suspension.
I do a lot of professional recording and i'll probably record a few sound samples with stock and aftermarket parts.
Car is long gone. Thereare others on this board that purchased the Ztek Exhaust that can chime in if they are reading. The welds were perfect very clean. It was a great sounding exhaust in all gears no resonance either. A nice deep throaty tone which is the way these cars are supposed to sound. I think you will be happy with the purchase.
They might be very nice but nothing pisses me off more on eBay than sellers charging OUTRAGEOUS shipping fees. $80 to ship the cans? Are you frickin kidding me? I bought my cans cross country and had them shipped 2500 miles and the GROUND shipping was closer to $30.
yeah the shipping is a little steep, but that's for headers and mufflers. plus even with that shipping cost it's quite a bit cheaper than any other place i've found before shipping. <3 ebay. even the local places i went to looking for performance parts had huge markup. i'm highly considering making my own parts. if i do, i know where i can find good testers =P
I've had the ztek headers and mufflers with stock cats on for the most part of the summer. They have held up quite nice and the sound is fantastic. I wouldn't think twice about purchasing these again. My .02.
You gotta be carefull with anything cheap on ebay. Guys will sell for less but catches up on shipping. A friend of mine got a set of wheels cheap but the when it came down to shipping, the guy wanted 300$.....
Any dyno numbers on these headers? Any users have any comments as to HP or torque benifits? I'm looking for performance. I don't care if they are shiney or come from China. So long as they perform.
