Hi all, first I want to say thanks to all who have helped me since I bought my car. I know some of my questions were very basic but I am a fast learner. I have really enjoyed owning and driving my car so far. I want to buy a battery tender/maintainer. When I am not driving the car say while on vacation or in the winter I think I should use one. Anyone have any advice/ Do I need a Porsche one or will a C-Tec 56-158 do? I am looking on Amazon. Your help as always is appreciated.
I too have been using the Deltran tender for years on all my vehicles. I use the Jr. model (.75 amp) and they work great. I use them any time my cars are going to sit for more than two days and I can double my battery life. Highly recommend.
I use a Battery Tender Jr. I keep a pig tail hooked up to the battery and plug it in every time I am done driving for the day. My batteries last forever(6+ years) this way. I have use them on all my toys for the last 18 years. Cost is $30.00.
I got one of these and wired it to the terminals. Just plug it in when I get back and battery is always good.

I have all my motorcycles on Battery tenders,plus my truck. However you might want to take a look on a Maserati battery maintainer, it's super and readily available on E-Bay. I've got my Mas. and my 535i on these and am very pleased with the complete battery charging status these units provide.
