The adjustment from street driving to track driving takes about 10 min, plus throw in another 10 min to change the tires - in 20 minutes you get to drive a completely different beast.

OK, I have had my 996 for a little over a month now and I am starting to see the need for some definite improvements in the cars ride and handling. I want to make her roll less, ride tighter and get rid of the "floaty" luxury ride feel... Any recommendations? Sway Bars? Suspension? Thanks!

You will probably get a lot of different suggestions but here is my .02 cents. The next step to improve would be the Row 030 suspension. It is the sport suspension for the rest of the world. It is a little stiffer ride and lowers the car slightly (20 mm in the front and 10mm rear). I have this on my 2000 996 and love it. It is great. Not to rough for everyday use. This is how the car should come standard. From there you can go to a fully adjustable suspension. Most posts I read say this is great if you do a lot of track time, but as an everyday driver, this may be a little too much. Everyone has a different feel. Good luck.

I think that you'll find a lot of support here for the ROW 030 suspension, especially for street only use. I have a C4S with PSS9 and love it, the adjustability works best for me as I track about 10 days/year. The adjustment from street driving to track driving takes about 10 min, plus throw in another 10 min to change the tires - in 20 minutes you get to drive a completely different beast. Either way (ROW 030 or PSS9) you won't go wrong... enjoy.
