I installed my Fabspeed Cold Air Kit Yesterday Evening, no results to report as of yet, I only performed a sound meter test.
I notice absolutely nothing with Fabspeed Cold air..

All I did was a quick test drive around town, on ramp to interstate, run to 150 and back down to the next exit and back home...a total of maybe 8 miles.

Well here goes. I installed the Fabspeed cold air kit with BMC filter per directions 2 weeks ago. I have a 2003 C2 with 6909 miles and stock exhaust (non PSE),and she runs and sounds NO different before or after the cold air kit. Actually maybe a couple of times I felt the car stutter or it didn't seem like it had the oommph it normally does. So off it comes and when I can swing it I will install the PSE and that will be my only mod because it is proven to just plain and simple sound better and no other mods that I can tell by all the reading I have done here do a single thing for power gains without risking something with regards to abnormal wear or breach of warranty etc...
Please...this is my take on the subject and don't mean to start a war on what someone else might believe in.

Interesting. I installed the same kit , loved the throttle response, but it took a couple of days for the car to figure out the change. Liked it so much I ordered the exhaust system from Joe at Fabspeed, great sound, not to aggressive but you can hear my coming when I slap the throttle.
You'll enjoy the PSE system, sounds great.
How long did you keep the cold air system on for?
Its funny that this would be a hot topic today....
I installed mine about an hour ago. It was a very simple install...which was good.
However, and bear in mind that I already have PSE, I really can't notice much difference.
I notice a little more boom to the note at 5k rpm or so which is great, but I'm not noticing much before then. I might notice a tad bit of improved throttle response, but not much. The car doesn't necessarily feel like it gained anything.

I'll test drive some more, but I'm not noticing much. But then again, it may be partially due to the PSE's sound drowning out the Fabspeed kit (with BMC).

Keep up the reporting, guys. I, and I 'm sure there are others that are very interested. I've kinda unsure about what to do next to my car. Not ready to give up the rear seats yet, so won't do GT3 seats nor roll bar, and I like the 030 for now until I get good enough at the track to take advantage of coilovers/X74 suspension. Glad air intake is a hot topic!!
