I just had my front GT3 front and side skirts painted/installed for 900 (250/ a side and 400 for the front).

I'm thinking about taking the mod plunge with a pair of side skirts and a turbo nose conversion for my black cab.
(Somebody recently posted his speed yellow with skirts and a converted turbo nose and it looked GREAT :cheers ).
The cost of the skirts and turbo nose is about $2500 from the famous Gert (

). Does anyone know how much the paint/installation would cost from a P dealer? Can I have Gert ship the parts directly to the dealer, or does that violate standard practice?
Also, is there any reason (other than cost and personal preference) NOT to do this mod? For example, will it hurt resale value of the car? (I would think it would help re-sale, but who knows). Thanks.

I thought the yellow car with those mods looked great too. I don't think there is any reason not to do the mod. I suppose that when it comes time to sell the car that a few potential buyers will be put off but you probably attract an equal number of people who really like the uniqueness of such a car. It's possible that the dealer would deduct some trade-in money claiming that they would have to put the car back to stock, but who cares?

or factory from suncoast porsche, bradywine porsche or this dealer in Oregon. All parts will cost you less than 1800.00 The difference of 800 shoudl cover painting and instalation. With the excahnge rate of the euro being so soft right now, you are really taking a very unnecessary financial hit. Atleast do yourself a favor and price it out other places. The money should be spent on quality painting and install.. Just my .2c
