Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well, Pricing on the 996TT's and the the low financing rates have got me with the bug again to lok at a 996TT to repalce my MY99-996NA. 1. My 996 is a 99 with Porsche Chrome 18's with newish Pirelli tires. PSE/ CD changer and is a 6spd. (Yellow with black leather) 20,400 miles. It is in really great shape. I am trying to settle on a price, also trying to figure out how to avoid joy riders and tire kickers in selling.. (I guess that is an age old question) 2. I would like to spend in the high $70's to low $80's for a 996TT.. I know you are all thinking I am nuts but I am not. I have talked to two wholesalers who say they won't pay as much for a TT on a trade for that and have got one for less... so if I am patient my car is out there (or I would pay more if the car was really great, low milage etc..) anyway I am in the Dallas, Texas area and am looking for a good home for mine and a replacement TT... if you know of either a buyer, or someone who has a nice 996TT that somewhat fits in the early, 996TT, stick, not a million miles, need an already financed/non-tire kicker buyer <smile> let me know... Reply in private if you like to [email removed] Thanks all... P.S. also willing to hear advice or reasons to egg me on or try to talk me out of it... (wife doing a good job already but willing to let someone else take a shot..)

Why get a turbo when you can get a supercharger? http://www.evoms.com/porsche%20ec%20art%20test.htm

POST 3Original post

Well considering I just did this here is what I ran into. 01 higher miles (27 to 30k) are easily had at 77k. I had 2 deals pending. Both had NAV etc. So they are there. I went with a C4S for 69k and got 40k for a trade in on my Black/Black Aero kit 1999 C2 with 27k miles. So they are there. I thought about the supercharger but there are tons if pros and cons around that and I decided to not mess with it.

POST 4Original post

Why is the cutoff at 6800 and not at the stock 7000 rpm? what's up with that?

POST 5Original post

The GT2 has a rev limit of even less than 6800.
