I don't think the Corsa's were designed to be used for daily street use.

My car will be mainly for street use (my area with quite abit of potholes) and will attend track days about 5 to 6 times a year.

Suggestion
If you want to use Corsa's then I would suggest buy a separate set of wheels for track days.

Do you plan on a daily use tire, track tire, or daily use tire that you can take to the track?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just had my car aligned and the alignment shop advised that the my rear Pilot Sport tires are bald. Does anyone have experience on P-Zero "Corsa"? They seem to be quite popular in my area.
The
PZero Corsa
is a DOT-approved R-compound track tire which can be driven on the streets. Porsche is installing a kinder gentler version of it on the GT3RS called the
PZero Corsa System
which has additional grooves for more water dissipation. This tire is also slightly less noisy and a bit more confortable.
Thanks for the reply. Comfort is also a factor although not as much as handling. Will this "Corsa" give a much harsher ride than the "Michelin Pilot Sport"? My car will be mainly for street use (my area with quite abit of potholes) and will attend track days about 5 to 6 times a year.
Given its nature, it probably will. If you have any doubts, you should stay with maximum performance street tires. As suggested before, the S-02A is a great tire. However, if you choose a Michelin, at least go for the Rib or PS2 version. You will not be happy with the original Pilot Sport.

I just fitted the PS2's following Viken's advice in my case and, performance wise its the best tire I ever had which is just what I was looking for, and works great in the wet and standing water too.
Sabenza,
I don't think the Corsa's were designed to be used for daily street use. They are track tires that can be driven to and from the track. I difficult to go wrong with Michelin and Bridgestone tires discussed above. If you want to use Corsa's then I would suggest buy a separate set of wheels for track days.
Thanks for the recommendations. The problem is that the PS2 are not released til October in my country, the Pilot Sport Rib are not for sale here. The Goodyear CSD3 takes 3 months to order for 225/285(18inch). Only the S-03, P-Zero Nero, P-Zero Rosso, Pilot Sports Cup and P-Zero Corsa are readily available where the Pilot Sports Cup and P-Zero Corsa are US$320 more expensive than the others.
Should I go for the S-03 or P-Zero Nero?
I had P Zero Rosso on my car as OEM, and I must say they worked pretty good! Much better than the Yokohama AVS I have on now.
I also have the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup which are similar to the Corsa in nature. Do not use them as a daily driver!! They are made for dry pavement and do not dissipate water well at all.
I'm running Corsa's on the rear of my Turbo. They are quieter and ride about as hard as Asimetricos. Thry are probably more streetable than Pilot sport cups.
Other tires may perform better, but I think you live in Hong kong. I know what it is like there, (sort of dowtown Manhattan). Since thats the case I would go with a max perf street tire. Since time is of the essence and the cost of the cup tire are so much more, I get the S03, They handle well and last reasonably long. You can't go wrong with the P-zero tire rack ranks them a little more comfortable and gives them an edge in comfort.
that sucks.... I'd go with Pilot Sport Cups... from your list these are by far the best compromise.... S03 just plain suck and you won't like them at all..
The Pilot Sport Cups are aggressive and made for the track but have enough tread for daily use..... their life will be 1/2 of any other tire though... perhaps
P-zeros I never liked cause they flatspot and cause all kinds of turbulence when accelerating.. .especially at high speeds... I know many others who feel the same way... when I switched to S02-A I couldn't believe the difference... this is what a porsche should feel like....!
I just find out how ignorant I am about tires after this post. I found out that the Pilot Sport I currently have is N1 rated. Does this mean that they are the better "ribs" version and not the original version?
I also found out by reading the various posts on s-02A that they are completely different from the s-02 and the local dealer does have them in stock. I think they are n3 rated.
I prefer to stay with n rated tires. Can anyone shed some lights on the different characteristics between the Sport Ribs and the s-02A? Should I try the s-02A bearing in mind that when I purchased the car 2 months ago, the rear PS 285 tires were nearly bald, so they are very noisy and I don't know how the ribs handles when they are fresh.
There seems to be little information on the Rosso. How do they compare with Ribs & S-02A.
Trying to make up my mind as to which tires to put on my car this Saturday. Many thanks.
