Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I bought a car out of state about 110 miles away. They will flatbed the car with a high cab truck. That should protect it fairly well. Should I use a car cover will transporting? The salesman said that could create scratches due to the wind buffering and the cover flapping. What are your thoughts? I might drive it but NJ roads arent looking to hot as of now (need repairs). Or theres always enclosed rtansport or is that overkill? TIA Mike

POST 2Original post

Sounds like overkill to me. Are you going to be driving this car or is it a show car? If its a driver your going to get plenty of chips over the next few years anyway from highway/track... Just make sure when they strap the wheels they don't scratch the rims or wheel well, happended to a friend of mine... enjoy the car
