Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, Does anyone have Fabspeed bypass on 996? From the video clip, I can't really tell how loud it is. http://www.fabspeed.com/996%20GT3%20...ss%20pipes.wmv Is it as loud as Viper with Corsa muffler? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

I heard the bypass pipes on a 2003 C4S at the local Porsche dealer. They were installed by a member of our local Porsche club. They were LOUD! One of the mechanics likened it to the sound of a dump truck. I wouldn't go that far. The car sounds like the Fabspeed video states, like a cup car at the track. Not a problem if you have a helmet on. Unfortunately, I have not heard a Viper with the Corsa exhaust, so I can't give you an objective opnion. I think the bypass pipes are too loud for the street for my own preference. I hope that helps.
