I would assume Porsche replaced the lifters with the latest part# in 2021 but I am not sure.

Please help! I am getting this grinding chainy noise only when cold starting the vehicle. The Porsche dealer replaced the tensioners 3 years ago and it still making the noise. I feel like it is getting worse. IMS bearing was replaced 2020.

It's a 2003 with 91k miles on it. I would assume Porsche replaced the lifters with the latest part# in 2021 but I am not sure. It's much louder in person when you hear it. I haven't checked the oil filters for plastic chain guide material yet. I am running the classic oil from Porsche which is heavier
