Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

I also got the PS21 drying towel to take the water off it when I wash it as you don't want to use a towel that is going to leave lint on the top.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is there anything I should do to the soft top on my new cab to preserve it, i.e., some sort of sealant or other coat of protection? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

Porsche has a complete soft top care kit - one spray is a sealant , I can't remember the others... I used them on my 986S - Keeps it looking great...

POST 3Original post

Go to Properautocare.com and get the Raggtop kit. It is easy to use and the best that there is. You will also need a soft brissel brush, which you can get anywhere. I also got the PS21 drying towel to take the water off it when I wash it as you don't want to use a towel that is going to leave lint on the top.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That was fast! Very active board. Thanks guys, will do.

POST 5Original post

I went to properautocare.com to order the raggtop kit and wound up spending $300... jeez. I just spent $200 at Zaino Bros. too, what the hell is wrong with me I don't have any time to wash my car... oh well.

POST 6Original post

Everytime I go there to buy something, I feel like a kid in a candy store!!! "She who must be obeyed" gets pretty upset with me....Oh well....

POST 7Original post

Yeah my "CFO" gets really pissed but I tell her to take two aspirin and lie down and that usually helps. Remember it's better to beg for forgiveness than beg for permission.

POST 8Original post

i have never washed my car myself and have never thought about doing anything special to the top. how often do i have to "take care" of my softtop?

POST 9Original post

Also try www.carcareonline.com They're pretty good with info if you call.

POST 10Original post

Raggtopp is great stuff, and it only costs about $15 or so per can, which will do probably 3 tops. Go to http://www.wolfsteins.com/ to find a dealer for Raggtopp.
