i just spotted a 997 test car in Marina del Rey. (approx. 9:10 am) while out for a walk. did the sprint back to the house for my camera, but the car was gone by the time i returned. So, if you are in the LA area and see a black car that looks like a 996 (the headlights and tail lights are disguised with tape) and a black Boxster , both with Georgia plates....zoom up for a closer look at the next generation. cheers, Max

I saw pics of those cars on a 996 forum somewhere. The guy was driving down the Vegas strip though, but indicated that they had Georgia manufactuter plates. Maybe they are doing some warm weather testing or something???? Bobby

Somebody on Porsche Pete's Boxster Board posted pics of these cars on the strip. As if they could find a place more conspicuous.
