Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey I wanted to get peoples thoughts on these rims? I'm trying to decide if I want to go with these Kinesis Rims or keep my Stock 5 Spoke Carrera Rims? Which ones to keep, which ones to sell? What do you guys think?

POST 2Original post

I personally like the 5 spoke better than those above. But it is a personal choice and I am the only one who really needs to live with the choice.

POST 4Original post

keep the Stock 5 Spoke Carrera Rims, best looking wheels Porsche has. J.Seven

POST 5Original post

As an avid PCA concours guy, good luck cleaning those wheels. Lets see, about 50 fasteners, 10 spokes, looks like a lot of work to me! If you, your significant other or your kids have really, really small hands, you may be all right. Option two, don't use the brakes! Otherwise, keep the 5 spokes!

POST 6Original post

Those are sweet! I also like the stock wheels that came with my car, but those are very unique...how much? I have my car semi-detailed every Friday, so I let the guys doing it worry about the small spaces...saves me about 2 hours!!

POST 7Original post

Get the Kenesis wheels for the street and keep your stock wheels for track tires. Whatever you do I would hold onto the stock wheels, you may need them someday, I often regret selling my old 17s.

POST 8Original post

Especially if you break a wheel (like I did!) and need something to roll on! This is twice now my 17" OEM wheels have come in handy. I was going to sell them but not anymore.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys... Waz, the red around the lip is a reflection from my Red Miata parked in the garage. The lips shine up nicely. If anyone is interested in the rims just PM me and let me know.

POST 12Original post

5 spoke, and believe me, I KNOW! remember the trials and tribulations i went through to choose new wheels? the only new wheels that look great are 19s on a lowered wide body with all the trimmings. i think 18" techarts are a great alternative, all others too "aftermarket=ish" in my humble opinion. and afterall, it's only my opinion. choose what you like best! have fun !

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Oalvarez, hahah yup i remember what you went through...now it's my turn! haha

POST 14Original post

dude! it seems you haven't been listening to your own suggestions sport technos with painted sections! i've seen you recommend them SEVERAL times, HA HA!!! IMHO those fikses look better on wide bodies but not on a narrow. they make it look heavy. carlos

POST 15Original post

by the way, i also like the CHAMPIONS that Karlooz has on his car, but once again, i think they only look good on a sliver/grey/black/white car. and more importantly, notice that they are 19s.

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Carlos, I know! I had a chance to buy a set of Techno's cheap, but I passed it up. I just figured if I wanted new rims I would go with aftermarket ones. I didn't want the car to look 'stock'. I still like the Technos though...if someone wanted to even trade my stock for their stock Technos I might be inclined

POST 18Original post
