The whole point of going with these vs my 997 Carrera Classics was to lighten everything up a little and not have to run spacers.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Kind of just a tease right now, but threw some new wheels on to switch the look up for a little while. Fifteen52 Holeshot RSR. 19x11 ET 56 and 19x8.5 ET50. Went 295/30/19 in the rear and 225/40/19 in the front. Went back and forth on the 235/35/19 for the front but settled on a more true even tire height vs. the raked look. I'll try to get some better shots tomorrow after I have it all cleaned up. Overall the rear offset is absolutely perfect. The fronts could have used a bit more push. The whole point of going with these vs my 997 Carrera Classics was to lighten everything up a little and not have to run spacers.

POST 3Original post

I like these a lot! Look forward to seeing full car photos. Typically I think 18in wheels looks best on our cars but some wheel designs, like this one pull of 19in wheels perfectly. Plus Cup2 tires look fantastic on them.

POST 4Original post

Yeah, they look good. Post a few more full side shots!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

(Current) Holeshot RSR: 24.7oz Front 26.4oz Rear (OLD) OEM Carrera Classic (997 19" Wheels): 23.1oz Front 28.11oz Rear - Wheels themselves +1.6oz Front and -5.01oz rear Saved on Tire weights as well (Current) Michelin: 22.49 Front 28.73 Rear (OLD) Toyo T1: 24 Front 31 Rear - Tires weight saving -1.51 Front and -2.27 Rear I was also running 15 MM spacers all around @1.07 with extended lugs that had some extra weight. So I figure about -1.25 per corner. So My Net for each front corner is: -1.16 Net for each rear corner: -8.53 So in theory gained some HP with Rotating Weight reduction.

POST 7Original post

I assume those are pounds not ounces? I sure wouldn’t mind a 1.2 pound wheel

Haha yes of course.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Posted some new pictures after getting her all cleaned up. Overall I think it's a pretty good setup for the 996.

POST 10Original post

Wheels look great !! What rear spoiler/ deck lid do you have on your car? fits the cars look perfectly

POST 11Original post

Looks good! I've been eyeing the Apex ML-10RT, why did you go with the 1552 wheels? GT Silver is so good.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Cheap and light.

POST 13Original post

Are you on stock suspension or lowered? I came across these wheels and just wanted to make sure there is no rub in the rear with NB

I'm on RUF springs. The rear fitment with 295/30/19 is a bit tight. Was much better with 315/25/19 that I had previously. The RUF springs are pretty low. If you had a more moderate drop or coilovers you could dial it in to be OK, but as it stands now with RUF springs, 295/30/19 and the Holeshot RSR it is right on the border of being a bit too snug. Looks cool though.

POST 15Original post

Looks good! Did the factory center caps just pop in? or did you need to get something custom?
