Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 5Original post

Doesn't the 996 use botls and not nuts? If so, what size bolts do we need, the 62mm? And what is a "floor jack pad"? Is it essential?

POST 6Original post

I imagine you need the shortest version unless you have spacers. As to the jack pad, it hooks onto the small hole just fore of the rear wheel opening and prevents any body or side skirt damage if jack is placed in a slightly off place. IOW, it positions the jack properly for you.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ouch I didn't know they were so pricey.
