Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I had my long-awaited M030 installed this past Friday. Got a chance to drive it over the weekend, here are my first impressions: - The front-end "floatiness" is much reduced, it inspires more confidence on long sweeping turns. There is less "rebound" on uneven pavement in turns. The steering feels a lot more precise, the front-end is planted. - On twisties, cornering is improved, flatter, with significantly less body roll. - The ride is not as firm as expected, still quite comfortable around town. I hardly noticed any difference there. - The car SEEMS lower, esp in front, but it's kind of hard to verify in the pics. The car rides at approximately 26" all around, same as noted on the PCA dissertation on the M030 here It's a great improvement over stock, but those who want something more aggressive and significantly lower, should probably go with the PSS9 or X74 setup (if the car is an '02 or later MY). Hey David, great pictures. I can see the difference in the Before and After Pictures.

POST 3Original post

almost dead-on my initial impressions after having mine installed. yes, some days i long for a lower stance, "the look," but it's not all that bad, i don't worry at all, the wife likes it, and it's better than stock. the only thing i was toying with was installing H&R springs on the RoW M030 to see what effect it would have. not the most costly of alternatives at this point. have fun with it. Silver, are you going 3/13 to crystal cove? oalvarez

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Actually, I am not sure I would want it any lower. I have noticed much more scraping than before. Steep driveways are a problem at this point.. I don't think I'm going to make it down to OC this weekend, that's kind of a hike. I may just stick with my little Malibu run. Have fun though

POST 5Original post

silver996, Are you coming to this one? 3/21 Malibu Drive to SB, Meeting at 7am in the Von's parking lot in Malibu (PCH/Sunset). This should be alot of fun, these guys run real fast on the twisties! See 993 forum for more details.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I might do that one Eric. Is this the ride that was originally organized a couple of weekends ago and got rained-out? If so, the itinerary sounded interesting...

"Is this the ride that was originally organized a couple of weekends ago and got rained-out?" That's it.

POST 9Original post

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I had the install done at Lucent Motors. Contact Arling, aka 20C4S on this site. They just opened a great shop conveniently located on the Westside.
